 Annapolis Maritime Museum
The Annapolis Maritime Museum is housed in the historic McNasby's Oyster Packing House. The museum has great outdoor space on Back Creek, including a beach that's good for launching kayaks. It's a wonderful place to enjoy the museum's summer concert series, as well. There are usually several folks out on the docks chicken-necking for crabs too.

Second Street and Back Creek
This small bricked space has a picnic table and bench, but is immediately adjacent to the Annapolis Maritime Museum docks, which are open to the public - and more attractive. You could pull up a small boat at this site, but launching a kayak would not be great. Far better to launch from the small beach at the museum next door.

Third Street and Back Creek
A tiny little space with a bench at the end of Third Street looks out through dozens of masts to Back Creek. Not really a very good place for docking, but a nice view. There's also an interpretive panel here that's part of the Eastport Walking Tour.

Davis Park, 4th Street & Back Creek
Small park at end of 4th Street with benches and small public boat dock. Across the street from Davis' Pub.

Street End Park, 6th Street and Back Creek
Very small area at the end of 6th Street with benches, a bike rack and a floating dock for small boats

Horn Point, Chesapeake Avenue
This is one of the nicest of the street end parks - the largest beach, benches, a picnic table, a lawn and some shade too. Great spot for launching kayaks and wonderful views out towards Greenbury Point and the Bay. Horn Point is near the former site of Fort Horn, a revolutionary war fort defending Annapolis during the American Revolution. Look for another interpretive panel on the Eastport Walking Tour.

Murphy St. - Jeremy's Way
This is a lovely little pocket park - very intimate and secluded with a narrow look out towards the Severn and the Bay. There is no boat launch here (the park is too high above the water), but there is one of the Sacred Places benches with a notebook where visitors record their thoughts - definitely worth a read and a few words of your own. Before walking down Murphy Street (or Jeremy's Way), stop at the corner on 1st Street where there is another stop on the Eastport Walking Tour.

Severn Avenue & Spa Creek
While devoid of trees or grass, this small street end park has benches and a small beach area suitable for launching a kayak or small boat. Views out towards the Severn River and the Bay.

1st Street & Spa Creek
This quite small park has a tiny beach area that's not bad for launching a kayak. There's also a bench and an interpretive sign that's part of the Eastport Walking Tour.. Nice view across Spa Creek towards the Naval Academy.

Leon Wolfe Park, 4th Street & Spa Creek
This is a delightful spot to sit and look out over Spa Creek and the Annapolis harbor. There is no boat launch here (the park is too high above the water), but there is one of the Sacred Places benches with a notebook where visitors record their thoughts - definitely worth a read and a few words of your own. Also, you'll find a couple of interpretive panels on the area's history - this is a stop on the Eastport Walking Tour. This park is just down the street from the Boatyard Bar Grill and Lewnes Steakhouse and across a lot from Carrols' Creek Cafe. There's also a great example of an innovative system for capturing stormwater from 4th Street and filtering it through plants and soil to clean it before it enters the Bay; the water also irrigates the tree and large planter in the park.

5th Street & Spa Creek
This street end park site provides a place to launch or dock a small boat or kayak and a nice view, but not much ambiance at the site itself - just brick pavers and one bench. During particularly high tides Spa Creek inundates a good portion of this site.
