Proposed Brew Pub
418 Fourth Street
There is a proposed brew pub (Forward Brewing) at 418 Fourth Street, the one-story gray building that used to house a marine electronics place. Construction is expected to start in the Spring of 2019 and the architect is Gary Schwerzler. For information, click here. The proposed plan is for the following:
- Will have 28 – 30 seats brew pub and growlers/pints are available for takeaway.
- Will have 8-9 parking spaces and will not offer valet parking.
- Parking lot will not be monitored for patrons leaving cars while heading to other local eateries.
- Will pay for two spots at the Annapolis City Marina for their employees.
- Will not changed the footprint of the building (not demolished) but will renovated for a taproom in the front and outdoor tables.
- Brewing to take place one or two days a week, using a 5 barrel system.
- Will have their food waste picked up to be composted making dumpsters unnecessary
- Will use their driveway for delivery trucks
- Will upgrade their water system
- No fryer, grill or exhaust fan necessary
Currently, no plans to expand the capacity at a later time, no special exception needed
